Perseverance

And I was quiet,

Silence was disturbing me

Which was never so before.

I used to love silence,

But this silence is thick,

It is heavy and dense…

And it's dark and not the darkness

With whom I am friend with;

This darkness has fangs

Probably poison is dripping from it…

I walked ahead, it was difficult to breathe,

And I found a slight dispersion of light faraway,

I do wonder of it to be just my imagination!

And I walked with heavy steps,

It felt like, though I walked, I was not moving

The light seemed at infinity…

And suddenly I realised,

Of touching a door,

I pushed it open…

The light I saw was through a tiny crack...

It was light of lanterns,

Decorating a beautiful pavement;

Either side in an elegant silent light,

Liting up the pavement scattered

With the bougainville flowers

In purple and white…

If I were not in the heavy silent darkness,

Never would I have appreciated-

This beautiful silent light.

I know, I should never stop seeking.

Seek, even sometimes you don't know what's ahead…
