Rendezvous after storm

Rendezvous after storm,

When everything has flown away;

And you stand as 'you',

No glitters, no grooming;

Just the bare 'you'!

The storm seem to be in distant past;

And the chronology disrupted,

Memories broken and bizarre,

Bitterness washed in the flood followed,

The barren land re-emerging fertile,

And the seedlings germinated,

And now, has grown into a dense forest,

That far and distant is the storm!

Now, I stand under the shade

Of the Gulmohar, still alone;

But rain does pour,

Breeze does brush me as a fragrant kamini;

Being alone seems better than that distant past…

Tears did prick, trumpeting the emotional being in me!

Though many things changed,

There is something unchanged within me;

Though unable I am to define it.
