Unpoured rain

The clouds were dark and heavy-

Not pouring off but assimilating

Overwhelming sweet pain;

Suppressing the rain tears within!

The green hill of trees,

And the valley beneath,

Awaited the shower of rain;

As for them, rain is pour of love,

Rather bursting of overwhelmed loneliness!

I wondered of me being reflected,

Yes, I was smiling,

Though I was searching for 'me'

And I was lost as if in dense woods;

The pleasure of nature unconsumed,

The insatiable me, unfound!

I smiled, hoping for a breeze and a drizzle,

It didn't… I walked alone with partial me!

Mind wandering where I left the rest of me.

It thundered, and lighting spread in the dark sky,

Still, didn't rain!
