Plunging into dream
I tried to recollect the dream;
My forehead wrinkled as I tried the more;
Nothing but woods at autumn-
With the golden sun-rays falling in
Making a perfect scenery;
Painted and hung on the hallway!
Which faded into the twilight
And later into the darkness of night!
I heard the crickets in their random rhythms,
And a wooden basket tickling my curiosity…
Sitting beneath tree, a treasure or curse!
In the darkness of night,
Where melancholy hung in air;
Like a heavy heart that I bore…
And I opened the mystery basket;
Afraid and curious, not knowing
What to expect, and my imaginations painting many!
And I saw lights flying up,
It was the fireflies lighting up the night;
The fear and melancholy gave way
To smile and calmness; absorbing the moment,
Rather infusing oneself into the moment!
And startled by the ranting I woke up,
It was the pouring rain knocking at my window;
I welcomed the rain, started recollecting the dream…
