Turning into wine

In this walk towards life

I pause, look into myself

And realise that I have changed.

Each morning is a change,

And every evening a delight of grace.

I find the beauty of life

In the midst of 'unworthiness'...

Every breeze is a reminder

Of the inhaled grace!

Every fallen petal

Proclaim the inevitable departure…

Will I be able to embrace

That moment with grace?

When will I sublime

Relinquishing the urge to clarify?

How will I explain the celebration of life

In the subtleness of incessant love?

It isn't lights, blaring music and dining-

Instead the silent whisper of trust

And acknowledgement of 'self'-

Acceptance of the whole without

Scrutiny and selection…

I wish to be the wine

That gets wonderful with time,

I wish to get crushed while

Life is ripe and right…

Though I'm afraid of

Having the endurance to be crushed!

The grace to be silent

And to taste the delight of life's triviality.
