Rain again...

Image
Rain pouring from above, Soothing the green leaves, The lovely-tiny wildflowers, And these lonely roads.... It fills in ecstasy- As if merging with the something That was lost long ago, But was preserved as memories within. Rain reminds home, The moments of love, The beauty of kinship, The moments of shared joy… Rain, it reflects me- That drizzle, pour, Sometimes roar- And at times stay quiet Unshed in the clouds… I have learnt to be broken And still be fine. I have learnt to smile too After the vacuum of silence. Rain I reflect in you And you in me...

silly things

Beauty of life Lie in silly things… Silly things matter. If you can't enjoy The sun, the wind, the rain, The flowers, bees and butterflies, You are a living-dead. Smile matters, So does a pat. Someone is bothered for you, Then it's good, We are better off than countless others Who wish for that. When you are asked for opinions For even trivial things, It's not that the other can't decide, But that you are counted on. Every big thing gets boiled down To an array of trivial things. It's time that we embrace  'Things that doesn't matter'- Because it matters, Every 'small' thing matters… If it doesn't, then you are at loss. Don't wait for 'bigger things', Because it's a summation  Of 'small things'... If you do, then you will feel lost That you have not embraced  Numerous beautiful 'small things' And wonder what the big thing is worth! Picture courtesy: https://pin.it/3tCHJ2s

beautiful feeling

Image
I sat inside the bus, Grinning like a fool, Watching the dark rain clouds Cuddled together into A giant candy floss, Moving behind the trees afar! The yellow castle- Who always stood in gloom, Seemed to have expectations… When we stop expecting- And curl up within us, We feel lost. There are times again, That persuades us to expect! And it drizzled… And my window was an art With the drizzling drops! The castle felt belonged, As I feel belonged being loved. Love is a beautiful feeling, So is the rain...

Beautiful life

Image
We sat watching the vast grassland Pecked with tiny yellow flowers, Bees bussed, in restless effort Sipping all the nectar  From the tiny wild beauties… The pines tall and proud Watched as if with- A father's unsaid glee, Bit between the lips With a serious 'hmm'; And the wind blew, While a sickle shaped leaf, Whirled down into his palm… He looked up and smiled, I reciprocated. It feels like bliss, When you realise the tiny moments... When bliss fills, And you pause to acknowledge… A tiny bird chirpped, And flew away. Life is indeed beautiful! Sometimes you need someone To help you find it again. Rediscovering yourself, Who was lost long ago- To be brushed and polished back. And to say it aloud- Life is beautiful, indeed!
