Beautiful life

We sat watching the vast grassland

Pecked with tiny yellow flowers,

Bees bussed, in restless effort

Sipping all the nectar

 From the tiny wild beauties…

The pines tall and proud

Watched as if with-

A father's unsaid glee,

Bit between the lips

With a serious 'hmm';

And the wind blew,

While a sickle shaped leaf,

Whirled down into his palm…

He looked up and smiled,

I reciprocated.

It feels like bliss,

When you realise the tiny moments...

When bliss fills,

And you pause to acknowledge…

A tiny bird chirpped,

And flew away.

Life is indeed beautiful!

Sometimes you need someone

To help you find it again.

Rediscovering yourself,

Who was lost long ago-

To be brushed and polished back.

And to say it aloud-

Life is beautiful, indeed!
