Behind Silence
And when you can't express
What you feel,
Just falling silent,
And despair fill…
Unable to vocalise the 'feel',
It feels terrible as your heart is full-
Clutters of monologues
That can't be verbalised,
And you drown deep down,
Just trying to understand what it really is,
You ask yourself: 'What's the matter!'
You know it's not this final trigger you just had,
But an accumulated burden
That you are carrying deep within!
Trying to understand why,
Why you can't say it out,
When you otherwise have verbal diarrhea,
Standing up and speaking for,
And much more…
But what happens when it's emotional
And you just can't say what and why!
Silence is what people see,
But in reality, it is a silent pandemonium
Orchestrated within, all jingling, thumping, clanking and trumpeting…
You may see vacant eyes-
But it's flowing within relentlessly,
Trying to comprehend what and why!
May be an arm around,
Just saying: 'it's all fine-
You will just be alright',
Would help that moment.
Be kind to yourself,
Take a few moments and breathe,
You will know what and why...
Even if you don't,
That's alright.
It's perfectly okay to be not okay.
Just humans!
And that moment when you start
Smiling again at the trivial things,
Try again, you can speak your mind now,
It's just matter of who is listening.
